What type of plugs and sockets are used in Yemen?

When you are going on a trip to Yemen, be sure to pack the appropriate travel plug adapter that fits the local sockets. But what do those electrical outlets look like? Yemen does not really have an official plug and socket, but the British type G plug is definitely the most common type found in households, shops and hotels. In addition, types C and D are also frequently used. Since these plug types are incompatible with each other, virtually all outlets in Yemen are universal ones.
