What type of plugs and sockets are used in Liberia?

When you are going on a trip to Liberia, be sure to pack the appropriate travel plug adapter that fits the local sockets. But what do those electrical outlets look like? Liberia uses totally different and incompatible plug and socket systems (types C, D, F and G), which is why literally all wall outlets in Liberia are universal ones. The most common wall outlet in Liberia accommodates the American plug types A & B, the European types C, E & F, the old British standard D, the current British type G standard, the Australian type I and the Thai type O.

There are two types of universal sockets that are used across Liberia: a version that accepts types A, B and C, and a truly 'universal' version (see image) that accommodates no fewer than 9 plug types (types A, B, C, D, E, F, G, I and O).
