When you are going on a trip to Iraq, be sure to pack the appropriate travel plug adapter that fits the local sockets. But what do those electrical outlets look like? Iraq does not really have an official plug and socket, but the British type G plug is definitely the most common type found in households, shops and hotels. In addition, type C is also frequently used. Since this plug type is incompatible with type G, many outlets in Iraq are universal ones.
